Congressman Scott Perryjoins Congressional Colleagues to Certify the 2024 Presidential Election
Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Scott Perry joined his House and Senate Colleagues to certify the 2024 Presidential election, confirming President Donald J. Trump’s landslide victory.
“Americans were very clear this past November – change in Washington cannot come soon enough,” said Rep. Perry. “In 14 days, America will have a President who leads with strength, courage, and love of our Nation – putting America and her Citizens first. Our Country and her allies are in dire need of leadership.”
On January 6, Congress convenes a joint session to fulfill its Constitutional duty of certifying the results of the Presidential election. This process involves counting Electoral College votes from each state. Once complete and any objections resolved, the Vice President formally certifies the election results, finalizing the process.
