Subcommittee to Hold Hearing on the Effectiveness of Building Codes in Mitigating Against Disasters

Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management Chairman Scott Perry (R-PA) announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing to examine the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) implementation of policies related to building codes in its programs, including the Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) predisaster mitigation program. The hearing will be held at 10:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
