Congressman Scott Perry visits PA Manufacturers’ Association in Harrisburg

Midstate Congressman Scott Perry was in Harrisburg visiting the Manufacturers’ Association. Perry met with the association to discuss efforts to boost manufacturing in Central Pennsylvania. “It’s an investment for you,” Perry said. “It’s a risk, but it’s a great opportunity for people that they otherwise wouldn’t have. The industry has always had to make some investments, and at the federal level we recognize that, and that’s why we changed some of the education grants to include technical education.” There are over 36,000 manufacturing workers in Pennsylvania, and Perry hopes to boost that as time goes on. |
