Congressman Scott Perry offered a statement following Attorney General Sessions' announcement regarding the termination of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program:  

“President Obama’s unilateral Executive Order to establish the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program was always unconstitutional. Today’s decision restores the proper balance between the executive and legislative branches with regard immigration policy. Congress has abdicated its responsibility on this issue for far too long. President Trump’s decision today should force us to finally develop the consensus necessary to reform our broken immigration system once and for all – and honor our heritage as both a nation of immigrants and of law.”
