“I’m devastated and furious at the murder of five police officers in Dallas last night. This was a vile and organized attack on the men and women of law enforcement who risk their lives to protect us every single day.  My heart and prayers are with the victim of this senseless and cowardly act, as well as their loved ones.

Regardless of your political views, we all want to see less violence in our country. We all want justice applied equally, to everyone. But nothing justifies the act of terror we witnessed last night. There’ll be more to discuss in the days ahead after the facts become clear.  May God protect our law enforcement officers and watch over our Nation and her citizens.”
