WASHINGTON—Congressman Scott Perry (PA-4) issued the following statement regarding the recommendation from FBI Director James Comey that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton not be prosecuted for her "extremely careless" mishandling of classified information:

“I’m extremely frustrated that, according to FBI Director James Comey, there's "evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information" by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, yet he recommends no charges be brought. I’m reviewing the FBI’s decision, but the American people have good reason to be troubled by the pattern of dishonesty and poor judgment surrounding Hillary Clinton.”
