Dear Friend,
Here is a summary of what we did in the U.S. House of Representatives this week. Watch this week's legislative update here.
House Foreign Affairs Committee Hearing: Countering China by Installing Electric Vehicle Chargers in Gaza

Did you know that the Biden administration is taking your tax dollars that are supposed to counter the Chinese Communist Party's Belt and Road Initiative and installing electric vehicle charges in Gaza instead? During a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing Tuesday, I questioned an official from the U.S. Development Finance Corporation over this misuse of funds. This is yet another shining example of the Biden administration's terrible foreign policy agenda and willingness to abuse American Taxpayer dollars to push its green agenda in the middle of a war zone.
Equal Representation Act
Currently, the U.S. census questionnaire doesn't count whether respondents are U.S. Citizens - meaning the U.S. electoral college representation is inflated by noncitizens and illegal aliens who can't legally vote. The Equal Representation Act helps restore integrity to the electoral process by requiring any future census questionnaire to contain a checkbox for respondents to indicate whether they are U.S. citizens. The bill would also require the Department of Commerce to ensure that all state date is accessible to the public and that noncitizens can no longer be counted for the purpose of congressional apportionment.
Biden's Latest Move to Support Unions over Small Business
Congress voted to overturn the National Labor Relations Board's joint employer rule, which practically bans contract work by requiring every contractor to treat any business it interacts with as a "joint employer." This rule would decimate small businesses and franchises in favor or labor unions. President Biden vetoed this legislation, this week I voted to override the veto and fight for small businesses.
