Telephone Town Halls
Perry hosted eight tele-town halls and one Facebook Live Town Hall focused on COVID-19. All told, almost 50,000 constituents joined the events to stay informed on the outbreak in their communities. During each call, Perry welcomed special guests to update listeners on the medical risk of COVID-19 and other important topics. Guests included medical experts from WellSpan Health, Penn State Health, UPMC Pinnacle, and Country Meadows Retirement Communities, as well as, a nationally recognized trauma psychologist, president of The Giant Company, regional director of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and PA Secretary of Labor & Industry. Recordings of all eight tele-towns are found on Perry’s Youtube channel. Constituents wishing to participate in future tele-town halls may sign up to receive information here.
