Remembering Reverend Billy Graham

The Reverend Billy Graham, famed Christian Evangelist and Spiritual Advisor to several U.S. Presidents, will lie in honor at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, from 1-8 p.m. The Rotunda will be open to the public so mourners may pay final respects. The public must enter through the Capitol Visitor Center in order to gain access to the Rotunda. Reverend Graham has left us an incredible legacy of love, humility and courage.

House Homeland Security Committee
Subcommittee on Oversight and Management Efficiency

The Subcommittee on Oversight and Management Efficiency will host a hearing entitled “Doing Business with DHS: Industry Recommendations to Improve Contractor Employee Vetting.” The hearing will examine the extent to which the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has unified policies, processes and procedures for vetting the character and conduct of contractor employees, known as a fitness determination. The proposed hearing will allow Members the opportunity to hear from industry representatives on the challenges and inconsistencies they encounter when/while doing business with DHS.
